Stahl Sheaffer Engineering, LLC, announces the addition of Mary Haynes, P.E. to our State College, PA office. As a Project Manager in the Building Structures group, Ms. Haynes will provide engineering design services for new construction, renovation, and fall protection. She will enhance Stahl Sheaffer’s building design capabilities by leveraging her experience with multi-family housing and the PHFA process, structural steel connection engineering, and stair framing design. Ms. Haynes graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with Honors, a Master of Architectural Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration. She brings 11 years of engineering experience, and will continue to grow Stahl Sheaffer’s capabilities in residential, senior living, educational, commercial, and industrial structures. She has extensive experience with multi-story wood construction and as a specialty engineer for delegated designs. Ms. Haynes is an active contributor to the AEC industry. She recently co-authored two papers, “Best Practices for Masonry Resilience Based on Performance During the 2018 Wilkes-Barre Tornado” and “What We Wish your Students Knew About Masonry: the Industry’s Perspective,” to be presented at the 13th North American Masonry Conference in June. The addition of Mary Haynes to the Building Structures group highlights recent significant expansion in terms of personnel and geographic coverage. In addition to Ms. Haynes, Mansoor Khan brought his 27 years of experience in structural design to Stahl Sheaffer this month to support the staff in developing structural designs, performing assessments, and performing project quality assurance reviews. The addition of Greg Wilhelm, P.E., in Pittsburgh last year established a local presence for structural engineering projects in western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Comments are closed.
