Aaron was one of the founding members of Stahl Sheaffer Engineering in 2006 and served as a Principal for 14 years. Continuing education and the thirst for diverse knowledge was a hallmark of Aaron's personae. He obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He was a 1998 graduate of Peters Township High School where he excelled in several AP courses and was a member of the tennis team. He peer reviewed or co-authored more than 15 reports, publications, and presentations during his professional career. Both Peters Township and the State College area held a special place in Aaron’s heart, and he was very proud of playing a key role in contributing to traffic improvements and enhancing pedestrian and bicycle safety in both regions.
The Aaron Fayish Memorial scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Aaron C. Fayish and will be awarded to Peters Township High School seniors who will be attending the Pennsylvania State University and working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM related program. The selected winner will receive a $2,500 scholarship to be used toward tuition at the Pennsylvania State University. Recipients of this scholarship are well rounded individuals with a vested interest in furthering their STEM education and their communities. They spend time volunteering in their communities, have excellent academic performance, and are leaders in their schools through involvement in athletics, clubs, extracurricular activities, and student government. They are the thinkers, doers, and leaders of tomorrow, following in the footsteps of Aaron Fayish.

Congratulations to Jill Cunningham, a graduate of Peters Township High School, for being awarded the 2024 Aaron C. Fayish Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Stahl Sheaffer Engineering. Jill received a $2,500 scholarship for her tuition at The Pennsylvania State University, where she will be majoring in nursing this fall. The scholarship, presented by Pieri Fayish, honors the memory of her late husband, Aaron Fayish, Principal of Stahl Sheaffer Engineering.
