Utility Relocation Coordinator
Stahl Sheaffer Engineering is currently seeking a Utility Relocation Coordinator in West Virginia (may report to McMurray, PA or West Virginia office).

- Read and understand construction drawings, utility relocation drawings, and contracts, and provide feedback concerning potential impacts.
- Coordinate directly with utility owner to enter into design and relocation contract agreements, and develop relocation plans and schedules.
- Coordinate directly with utility owner to expedite relocations, and ensure that they occur on schedule and meet the project objectives.
- Monitor, report, and track project status.
- Document and maintain correspondence files.
- Travel to project locations and identify utility types and owners (may include overnight travel).
- Previous utility relocation experience, principally with overhead services and utility poles.
- Familiarity with the utility companies in West Virginia, including but not limited to: American Electric Power, Frontier, First Energy.
- Understanding of the West Virginia Division of Highways Accommodation of Utilities on Highway Right of Way and Adjustment and Relocation of Utility Facilities on Highway Projects manual.
- A valid Driver’s License and daily access to a motor vehicle.
- Satisfactory driving record and ability to successfully pass background checks.
- Ability to work independently and critically analyze work situations and assignments.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- The ability to walk several miles during working hours, possibly on steep terrain.
- Travel and work outside, in all types of weather.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
