SR 2003 Hoenig Road Improvements

Stahl Sheaffer was responsible for the design of a Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) project with cement stabilization and overlay of approximately a half mile of SR 2003 in Beaver County. The project was performed to provide upgraded access to a Penn Energy well pad and included roadway widening, reprofiling of the roadway, drainage improvements, and bridge resurfacing.
Stahl Sheaffer worked closely with PennDOT District 11-0 staff to obtain approvals on the project and educate on the FDR process. The project was successfully constructed in the fall of 2016.
