Millennium Science Complex Access Design

Stahl Sheaffer Engineering installed ladders and catwalks in order to allow university personnel to access the mechanical equipment on the roof of the newly constructed Millennium Science Complex. The access is necessary for maintaining and servicing the equipment and is OSHA-compliant.

Design criteria were based on the 2009 International Building Code and ASCE 7-05, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures as well as local code requirements. |
