Penn State Lasch Field Synthetic Turf Replacement

Stahl Sheaffer provided design services for the replacement of the existing artificial turf and approximately 390 feet of an undersized channel drain located at the outdoor field between Lasch Football Building and Holuba Hall. The project included a detailed topographic and existing conditions survey of the site as related to the replacement of the trench drain to verify existing conditions and evaluate trench drain options. In addition, Stahl Sheaffer completed site design for the removal and disposal of the existing artificial turf (approximately 190 feet by 390 feet) as well as the site design for a new trench drain, located on the western side of the field between the artificial turf surface and the grass field surface. Stahl Sheaffer finalized the design documents and prepared construction plans and technical bid specifications.
