Stahl Sheaffer is currently serving as the prime consultant for this project providing preliminary engineering and final design services. The project will consist of replacing the existing culvert over the unnamed Tributary to Barefoot Run with a new structure at the same location.
In addition, pedestrian access across the new structure will be accommodated with the installation of ADA compliant sidewalk that will connect the SR 56/SR 96 intersection with residential area of the Pleasantville Borough. New traffic signals will be installed at the intersection of SR 56/SR 96 which will include upgrades to the controller box, signal heads, poles, and mast arms. ADA compliant sidewalks, pedestrian signal heads, sidewalks/ADA access and curbing to define access to parking lots will also be installed with consideration of pre-emption for emergency services.
The anticipated construction let date is January 2021.
