Stahl Sheaffer Engineering was selected as the prime consultant for this open-end agreement to provide construction inspection services on various projects located within PennDOT District 3-0. This work order was the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a single-span prestressed spread box beam bridge over Hoagland Branch.
Construction inspection on the project involved excavation, subbase, superpave asphalt mixture design WMA base, binder, and wearing courses, drainage, guide rail, coarse aggregate, rock, temporary traffic signal system, pavement markings, signs, reinforcement bars, cement concrete, temporary excavation support and protection system, and other miscellaneous construction.
