Stahl Sheaffer provided structural engineering for the completion of a timber and steel pedestrian bridge connecting access to the park property on both sides across the Cocolamus Creek at Millerstown Community Park.
Stahl Sheaffer provided the structural design and plans for a six-span (five approach spans and one main span over channel) timber and steel pedestrian bridge. The approach spans range from 15.75’ to 20.75’ and consist of glulam timber beams with composite decking. The main span consists of steel I-beams, timber stringers, and composite decking. Abutments and piers are cast-in-place reinforced concrete.
