As the special inspector of record for the construction, Stahl Sheaffer’s qualified EIFS inspectors performed weekly inspections of the work as it progressed, including inspection after demolition activities and during and after the installation of each layer of the exterior insulation and finish system components. Stahl Sheaffer photographed and documented visible conditions and prepared daily inspection reports as well as a final report to meet the special inspection reporting requirements for the local authority having jurisdiction. Stahl Sheaffer coordinated any remediation needs to the completed work to the contractor on-site to meet the quality requirements established by the manufacturer and allow the work to continue in a timely manner.
