Jonathan Efaw, LiDAR Manager
Jonathan Efaw, who joined Stahl Sheaffer as a Senior Laser Scanning Technician, has recently been promoted to LiDAR Manager, holding responsibility for conducting technical projects that involve emerging technology in reality capture. He is an ASPRS Certified LiDAR Technologist with experience in fields of airborne imagery and video capture, 3D rendering, stereo mapping, pixel match modeling, terrestrial and mobile LiDAR collection and post-processing, plant process modeling, architectural modeling, civil drafting, augmented reality, and sidescan sonar hydrography. He serves as manager of Stahl Sheaffer's mobile mapping program, managing mobile and terrestrial mapping systems to produce various mapping and asset inventory products and delivering geospatial data produced and reduced from the mapping systems. Projects include roadway and bridge modeling, pipeline leak detection, dam hydrographic mapping, underground slope tunnel mapping, compressor station modeling, and campus roadway evaluation and modeling.

Mr. Efaw has been invited by Leica Geosystems to present "Plug-and-Play Reality Capture with the Leica Pegasus:Two" at the 2018 Hexagon (HxGN) Live Event in Las Vegas.
