Driveway Culvert Replacement
Confidential Energy Client, Trumbull County, OHStahl Sheaffer provided design and environmental permitting services for the proposed replacement of this driveway stream crossing culvert. The existing culvert was undersized for the hydraulic conditions present at this location. The driveway culvert conveyed an unnamed tributary to Yankee Run in Trumbull County, Ohio.
Stahl Sheaffer performed hydraulic capacity analysis, wetland delineation, and secured a nationwide permit (NWP) 3 through the USACE Pittsburgh District. Wetland avoidance and minimization was reviewed, which resulted in the design of headwalls to reduce wetland impacts.
