Stahl Sheaffer provided construction inspection for the demolition of existing building and construction of a new 5,000 sf maintenance building with ICF reinforced concrete walls and wood frame construction within Hyner Run State Park. The project included mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, including a solar array system. Hyner Run carves a small valley from the nearby mountains and is surrounded by the Sproul State Forest.
Construction inspection duties included inspection of excavation, foundations, placement of ICFs, reinforcing steel and concrete, wood framing, insulation, drywall and finishes, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and mechanical systems. Additional tasks included performing measurement and calculation of quantities for payments to contractor. |
