Sewickley Academy embarked on an extensive project to remodel the existing 25,000 square foot Senior School building (last updated in 1999). The project’s intent was to create a modern, innovative learning environment that is more collegiate, warm, and functional. Improved building features include reconfigured spaces and cutting-edge technology to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience. 

Stahl Sheaffer supported Kimmel  Architecture with analysis and strengthening of existing CMU walls in the Sewickley Academy Commons area to allow for new openings to provide increased natural lighting as well as a more open floor plan to enhance student collaboration spaces. Stahl Sheaffer also assisted in the analysis of existing structural elements as part of interior renovations that included 19 classrooms along with faculty and administrative spaces.
