Stahl Sheaffer provided environmental services for a streambank stabilization and restoration including field review and stream studies, bankfull channel determination to guide the proper restoration strategies for providing streambank restoration, and flow velocity dissipation to create long term channel stability. We designed stabilization techniques incorporating root wads, rock toe protection, rock cross vanes, single arm rock vanes, streambank grading, bioengineered plantings, tree planting, channel width restoration and rock armor bank protection.
