Stahl Sheaffer provided survey, land development, site and structure design, and construction inspection services for the 72’ x 42’ HUA in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County. Structure utilized timber post and roof framing and bracing supported on reinforced concrete foundations and foundation walls. The structure has a 1’ overhang on the gable ends, a 2’ overhang on the south side wall, and an 8’ overhang with an 8’ feed table on the northeast half of the north side wall. The structure has interior curbs that create an 8’ wide bale feeder and has a 16’-wide concrete entry slab at the door opening on the north wall (adjacent to the existing straw barn).
