Site Project Engineer
Responsibilities
Lead technical design aspects for projects
Assist the project team in the development of plans, technical specifications, and regulatory submission
Develop feasibility studies
Develop design details and technical recommendations
Assess the cost‐effective constructability of the project and generally evaluate the quality of the project
Provide day‐to‐day technical support, guidance, and input
Lead in the preparation or modification of reports, studies, permits, and designs for various projects
Lead junior engineers, designers, and CADD technicians in the delivery of technical deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania and/or West Virginia
The ability to obtain state and federal background clearances to permit working on-site when necessary
A valid driver’s license and daily access to a motor vehicle
Five to ten years of experience site development
Five years of experience working in and leading collaborative and unstructured teams
A highly organized approach to tasks and a high level of initiative
Working knowledge of site civil engineering, environmental and municipal regulations, drainage, stormwater management, and E&S control as they relate to design
Proficient working knowledge of CADD programs especially Autodesk Civil 3D
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills with co-workers and clients
